What you get – Round the Corner is one of the oldest pastry shops in Ahmedabad but continues to draw loyal customers till today. This place is extremely famous when it comes to cakes for any occasion.
For those with a sweet tooth this is the ideal place. You will drool over their delicious range of pastries from chocolate truffle to chocolate mousse, pineapple and a lot more. Apart from pastries and cakes, you will love their range of ready-to-eat pizzas, burgers, turnovers, hotdogs, sandwiches, rolls and more.
Round the Corner also offers bakery products like pizza base, jeera toast, buns, bread sticks, pav and tangy chicken croissants. They also have a variety of breads like brown bread, whole wheat bread, garlic bread, cheese bread etc. Their range of cookies and chocolates is worth trying too.
The restaurant also has amazing short eats like frankies, sausages, sizzlers, pastas, croissants, soups, Indian curries, fish curries, chicken etc. Go for their Bombay style vegetarian or chicken Frankie; you will love it. Even their pepper chicken which comes with lots of capsicums, spring onions and other vegetables mixed with sauces is yummy as are their Lollipops and Sizzlers.
Our verdict – Round the Corner is an ideal place for non-vegetarian lovers as they have lots of options to choose from. No doubt, their vegetarian food is equally delicious. The best thing about this place is that it is open throughout the day instead of just lunch or dinner. But if you wish to have a leisurely conversation with a grub, this is simply not the place for you. You will have to finish your food quickly and vacate the place as the restaurant is small and usually crowded. Don’t miss out on their range of pastries. The service though needs improvement. Home delivery is provided within a radius of three kilometers. Outdoor catering is provided too.
